I struggled with the same kind of thing a little over a year ago. She was toxic and she brought me down so much, but we'd been friends forever. One day she found out I'd been venting about her to a mutual friend and we had a fight, but not long after that she told me she'd joined a church and decided she wanted to live her life differently...she actually apologized for the way she'd been acting and realized she wasn't a good friend..we're tighter than ever now.<br /><br />Another friend from college -- I just grew apart from her. it got to be way too much drama keeping up with her and honestly the "i miss you!" words were sort of untrue...I didn't miss her.
